Booking Policy

Effective Date: 30 March 2026  ·  All bookings at RUEMA Cafe & Event Space are subject to the terms below.

1. How to Book

Bookings are accepted via WhatsApp enquiry. To begin the booking process, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name and contact number
  • Preferred event date and time
  • Type of event (e.g., birthday, engagement, corporate)
  • Estimated number of guests
  • Package of interest (Essential, Celebration, or Grand)
  • Any special requirements or add-ons

We recommend booking at least 1 month in advance to secure your preferred date.

2. Booking Confirmation

Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the 50% non-refundable deposit and written acknowledgement from RUEMA. Until the deposit is received, the date remains available to other clients. A booking confirmation and invoice will be issued via WhatsApp or email upon payment.

3. Deposit Requirements

A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total package price is required at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining 50% balance must be settled at least 7 days before the event date. Failure to complete the balance payment within the stipulated period may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

4. What Is Included

Each confirmed booking includes the following, based on the selected package:

  • Exclusive use of the event space for the agreed duration
  • In-house halal catering as per the package specification
  • Standard setup and post-event cleanup
  • Background music system
  • Free parking for guests
  • Additional inclusions as per the selected package tier

5. Amendments to Bookings

Amendments to your booking (such as guest count, menu selection, or decoration preferences) are welcome and may be requested up to 14 days before the event, subject to availability. Changes requested within 14 days of the event may not be accommodated or may incur additional charges. All amendments must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp.

6. Package Add-Ons and Upgrades

If you wish to add services or upgrade your package, we recommend doing so at least 30 days before the event to ensure availability and allow proper arrangements. Add-ons are subject to pricing at the time of request.

7. Day-of Guidelines

  • Access for setup is permitted 1 hour before the event start time. Early access is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • All decorations must be pre-approved by RUEMA management. Adhesive materials that may damage walls or furniture are not permitted.
  • The event organiser is responsible for supervising all guests and third-party vendors.
  • Events must conclude by the agreed end time. Overtime charges apply for extensions.
  • The venue must be vacated in a clean and orderly condition. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the space is left in an unsatisfactory state.
