Payment Policy
Effective Date: 30 March 2026 · All transactions are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
1. Accepted Payment Methods
RUEMA accepts the following payment methods:
- Online payments — Credit cards, debit cards, and online banking via our secure payment gateway (Razorpay)
- Bank transfer — Direct transfer to RUEMA's designated bank account (details provided upon booking confirmation)
- Cash — Accepted at the venue for in-person payments only
Personal cheques are not accepted. All online transactions are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
2. Payment Schedule
Booking Deposit — 50% of total package price
Due at the time of booking confirmation. This secures your event date. The deposit is non-refundable.
Remaining Balance — 50% of total package price
Due at least 7 days before the event date. Failure to settle the balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Invoicing and Receipts
Upon receipt of the deposit, RUEMA will issue a booking confirmation and invoice via WhatsApp or email. A payment receipt will be issued upon receipt of each payment. For bank transfers, please send proof of payment to our WhatsApp number to expedite confirmation. Receipts are issued in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable service charges.
4. Pricing and Taxes
All prices listed on our website are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to prevailing government taxes and service charges (indicated as "++" where applicable). RUEMA reserves the right to revise pricing at any time. The price applicable to your booking is the price confirmed at the time of the booking deposit payment.
5. Late Payments
If the remaining balance is not received by the stipulated deadline (at least 7 days before the event), RUEMA reserves the right to cancel the booking. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited and the date released for other bookings. RUEMA will make reasonable attempts to contact the client before proceeding with cancellation.
6. Online Payment Security
Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. RUEMA does not store, process, or have access to your full card details. All card transactions are encrypted using SSL/TLS technology. For more information, please refer to our Security Policy.
7. Refunds
All refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
